Marking and cutting PVC pipe square and accurate can be a challenge. Here is a quick and easy method to over come this. This video shows how to use an ordinary cable-tie to obtain consistently accurate cuts. Here we demonstrate the use of a small angle grinder but a hand or drop saw with the appropriate blade would also work. Pay attention to the part about finishing the cut, it will make your life easier when attaching the PVC fittings to the pipe.
