This keto burger bun is quick, easy and delicious
This is the best keto diet gluten free burger bun which cooks in just 90 seconds in the microwave. This burger bun could also be dairy free if the butter is swopped for olive oil or coconut oil and the Mozzarella cheese is omitted. For those on the keto diet compose your burger with low carb ingredients like Wagyu burger patty, low carb fresh vegetables and enjoy with a side of low carb pork crackling chips and a low carb (? Ingredients for 2 keto hamburger buns
1 Tablespoon butter or oil (25 mls)
1/3 to ½ teaspoon baking powder
1 Large egg
1/3 cup almond flour (80 mls)
1 Tablespoon grated mozzarella cheese (25 mls)
Total 3.5 grams carbs 400 calories
Method for making keto burger buns
Melt butter in microwave proof dish (30 seconds) and coat sides of dish with butter
Add baking powder and egg and beat together
Add Almond flour and Mozzarella cheese and mix into a creamy batter
Shake dish to left batter form an even layer
Cook in microwave for 90 seconds on high
Loosen loaf and turn out onto a board
Toast bun in pan with butter about 1 min each side (optional)
Load bun with your favourite hamburger ingredients and enjoy with low carb pork crackling chips
Total 3.5 grams carbs 400 calories
